“The Human Body is constantly begging us to give ourselves a Natural Cleanse and Detox (detoxification) on a more regular basis.” – A quote from Jeremy David Wilson, owner of

Hello, my name is Jeremy David Wilson and I have personally been studying and experiencing the amazing effects of cleansing and detoxifying my own body on a more regular basis for years now, and because I’ve achieved great experiences and knowledge from this, I desire to share it with you as well in hopes that you’ll realize similar or even better benefits than I did.

So take a moment, print out this article, and write your answers below (remember, you don’t have to share this with anybody…this is just for You!

Great work!

Now that you’ve written down your answers to the ten questions above, take a moment to really reflect on those answers by seriously thinking about how even just reading those answers back to yourself makes you feel all together.

Did you read them back to yourself yet?

How did reading those make you feel?

Not so good, right!?

The cool part is that while you were doing that, Your  body was actually screaming out inside of you saying, “PLEASE, I NEED A NATURAL CLEANSE AND DETOX!”

Basically, that’s your subconscious telling you what you need to do to make yourself feel whole again, alive again, energetic again and even youthful again.  I know that may sound a little quirky, but it’s so true!

So now what?  How do you get yourself back to feeling like a million bucks?

Well, I’m going to teach you right here and now, how cultures around the world have practiced detoxification (including Chinese and ayurvedic medicinal systems) for centuries with very high success and great results.  Besides, we all want to feel as youthful as possible, right?

So what exactly is “Detox, or Detoxification?”

Detoxification is about thoroughly cleaning out the body.  It’s about resting the body and nourishing the body, and doing so from the inside out (inside is where all the nasty, toxic “gunk” is).

Naturally cleansing and detoxing your body can help protect you from many various diseases, sicknesses, and illnesses by drastically eliminating terrible toxins in your system.  By feeding your body with natural and healthy nutrients, it can also help you to renew your ability to maintain optimal health which in turn can even help you save a lot of money on things like Health Insurance, Doctor Bills, Medicines, time lost at work due to being at home sick and more.

Now that you know basically what detoxification is, let’s answer the question of, “How does it work?”

Most people don’t even know this, but detoxification simply means “cleaning the blood in your system.”  It cleans the blood by removing yucky impurities from the red river in your liver (lol…that rhymed!).  Red River was just my silly term for Blood…just in case you didn’t catch that.

What does the Liver do?  Well, the liver actually processes the toxins and prepares them for elimination.  However, this vital organ is not the only organ that does this (even though that’s what most people think is the sole source for filtering the body’s system).  Other organs that do this are also the Kidneys, Lungs, Skin, Lymph nodes and the kidneys.  But sometimes the toxins and impurities are not filtered properly and/or effectively due to a compromise of the body’s system.

That being said, you can easily put yourself back on the fast track to health by adhering to a well-planned out program that can help the body’s Natural Cleanse and Detox processes.  A good cleansing/detoxing program can be assisted in helping the natural cleansing process of the body by:

  1. RESTING – Be sure to allow yourself enough time to get at least a good eight hours of sleep and don’t “burn the midnight oil while going through your detoxification cycle/program.

  1. RELAXING – Take some time off, if you have to, but be sure to relax, enjoy some fresh are and remove yourself from daily distractions (two of those being your cell phone and your computer…just shut them off if you can).

  1. FASTING – I know it doesn’t sound fun but it is a necessary step that basically rests the organs from all the normal toxins the we all usually put in our systems every day, sometimes even unknowingly (for example, have you ever considered the fact that even when eating an apple, you’re more than likely consuming the “wax” and the “pesticides” that have been applied to this lovely piece of fruit? Even when you rinse it, that still doesn’t get off all the toxins and You ARE injecting them straight into your system from the first bite!).

  1. STIMULATING the LIVER – When the liver is stimulated, it is more effective in extracting toxins from the body.

  1. REFUELING – Highly healthy nutrients within your detoxification program will definitely ignite the refueling of your system and igniting that energy from within to spark within you again.

A Natural Cleanse and Detox works!  Why?  Because it addresses the individual needs of the body’s cells, just like Peter Bennett, N.D. said (quote below) in the book “7-Day Detox Miracle: Restore Your Mind and Body’s Natural Vitality with This Safe and Effective Life- Enhancing Program” who he co-authored with Stephen Barrie, N.D. and Sara Faye:

“Detoxification works because it addresses the needs of individual cells, the smallest units of human life.”

So how do you know when and if your body needs a natural cleanse and detox?

In the book I mentioned above, “7-Day Detox Miracle: Restore Your Mind and Body’s Natural Vitality with This Safe and Effective Life- Enhancing Program by Peter Bennett, N.D., Stephen Barrie, N.D. and Sara Faye, Peter highly suggests that everyone should detox at least once a year.  There is a important note here though where Bennett cautions folks against detoxing if they are nursing mothers, children, patients with chronic degenerative diseases, cancer patients or people with tuberculosis.  So be sure to consult your health care practitioner and/or your doctor if you have any questions about whether a natural cleanse and detox is right for you and your body.

Did you know that there are more toxins in the air and in the overall environment than ever before?  Linda Page, N.D., Ph.D., author of the renowned book on detoxification named, “Detoxification: All You Need to Know to Recharge, Renew and Rejuvenate Your Body, Mind and Spirit,” she states that, “it’s critical to detox” and she recommends a natural cleanse and detox for the following symptoms you may be having right now…

So by now, you’re probably wondering, “Well how do I start a proper natural cleanse and detox?”  I’ll help you get started the right way by breaking this down into simple action steps for you below:

  1. Make up your mind and determine, without a shadow of a doubt, that you are going to be completely committed and fully dedicated to cleaning out your system and do not allow yourself to sway from this process.  I state that because it means a “change in habits” regarding the foods, drinks, alcohol, tobacco, and other things that you may consume on a regular, daily basis and it will take a strong mindset, dedication and consistency to pull through this with a HEALTHIER YOU on the other side of this.  Don’t allow temptations to throw you off.
  2. Write down the reason you’re doing this, Your Why,” what you want Your Results to be and why you are going to be determined, committed and consistent with your natural cleanse and detox without allowing yourself to cheat.
  3. Now write down what consumables as well as every-day products that you may be using, that you are going to eliminate during your cleansing process.

NOTE:  Do your best to find “Natural Alternatives” to the products and consumables that you normally use (you will actually learn quite a bit about natural alternatives through this process which can be very fun and rewarding, plus you’ll be so excited about it later on that you’ll be sharing what you’ve learned with your friends, family and loved ones!).

The list you write out should include things like (but not limited to) the following:

  1. Coffee
  2. Refined Sugars
  3. Alcohol
  4. Cigarettes
  5. Cigars
  6. Electronic Cigarettes (e-Cigs)
  7. Nicotine (in general)
  8. Saturated Fats
  9. Junk Foods & Fast Foods

  1. Any Chemical-based Household Cleaners or Personal Healthcare Products such as:
  • Deodorants
  • Shampoos
  • Conditioners
  • Toothpastes
  • Mouth-wash
  • Cleansers
  • Soaps & Body-washes
  • Pesticides
  • And anything else you can think of that you use on a daily basis that may have a negative impact on your overall health (you know…like those things we love and just can’t seem to get away from even though we KNOW for sure that they are bad for us!).
  1. Eliminate Stress! – Stress can be a major deterrent to “a healthy you!” When you are “stressed-out,” your body will release stress hormones into your system also known as “adrenaline” which many people relate to the term, “Adrenaline Rush.”

So when you are stressed out (for example when you’re running late for work, or rushing to meet a deadline, or rushing to get the kids to school on time), these stress hormones/adrenaline hormones can be produced in very large amounts which actually creates toxins that slow down the detoxification enzymes in your liver.

So do you battle with stress quite frequently?  If so, there are a few proven and effective ways to help relieve your stress.  These stress-relieving methods include (but are not limited to) the following:

These various meditation and relaxation practices are simple but very effective methods of relieving your stress levels by resetting your mental, physical and emotional clock, so to speak (your reactions), to the ongoing every day stress that life brings our way.

Ok, so now that you understand more about the subject, you are most likely asking the silent question of, “Which Natural Cleanse and Detox program is right for me?”  So without any further ado, let’s dive into the 10 very effective natural methods of natural cleanse and detox plus some diet tips for beginners.

Of course, there is a wide variety of cleansing and detoxing programs out there, not to mention the vast array of diets and recipes.  Therefore, I have taken the time to narrow down that sea of information for you to help you make an informed decision on what programs/diets/recipes you believe could be right for you depending upon your individual needs.

In Bennet’s book, he mentions that many programs follow a 7-day detox schedule because “it takes the body time to clean the blood.”  Bennet’s program will start you off fasting on liquids for the first two days and the will be continued with a carefully-planned out, five-day detoxification diet which will allow the digestive tracts to rest, which can bring many healing benefits to the body.

In Linda Page’s book, Detoxification: All You Need to Know to Recharge, Renew and Rejuvenate Your Body, Mind and Spirit,” she  suggests a three to seven day all-juice fast which would include drinking only water, vegetable juices, and fruit juices (all fresh ingredients of course) which can also be a very effective toxin-cleansing strategy.

There are many great programs and plans out there and it can get overwhelming trying to choose between them, but I’ll list a few of my favorites here which may help you narrow down the selection to one that you feel is right for you.  Keep in mind that you should always consider consulting your primary care physician and/or doctor before going on a cleanse just to be safe, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition and/or disease of any sort.

Another great book you may want to consider reading on the topic is:  “7 Day Detox Miracle: Lose 7 Pounds in 7 Days Safely: Purifying Your Body with the Miracle of Detox” written by Dana Selon.  I think you’ll find some useful tips in here as well, especially if the main purpose of your desire to do a Natural Cleanse and Detox is to lose weight.

Here is a list of my top five favorite natural cleanse and detox diet plans:

  1. An all-liquid diet including Filtered Water, Fruit Juices & Vegetable Juices.
  2. Similar to number one above but slightly different is a Smoothie Cleanse, but for those that prefer a “smoothie” over just juice.
  3. You can also do the true vegan diet that contains only quality vegetables and fruits, especially if you don’t like the idea of doing a “juice only” diet.
  4. A Hypoallergenic Cleanse & Detox.
  5. A Sugar Detoxification.

Now on to the Top 10 very effective natural methods of natural cleanse and detox plus diet tips for beginners.  Once you have successfully gone through the detox program of your choice, you will want to thoroughly cleanse your body with the following diet, supplement and lifestyle practices (not necessarily in this order):

  1. A well balanced diet of fiber. Your fiber diet should include organic fresh fruits, organic fresh vegetables and organic brown rice, but of course you’re not limited to just these.  You should also include some of these foods that have been proven to be great detoxifying foods (click on the foods below that interest you or that you’d rather find condensed powder or healthy supplements for…if you don’t like eating the “real-deal” that is, and I’ll provide you with some recommendations on products that I personally choose to use):
  2. You can help protect your liver and cleanse it at the same time by taking natural herbs such as dandelion root, milk thistle, burdock and drinking white teas and green teas.
  • Needless to say, you should always be drinking at least two quarts of filtered or distilled water each and every day.
  1. While making sure that you stay hydrated as just mentioned above, you can go to a sauna (a.k.a. “Sweat Lodge”) and eliminate your body’s wastes through perspiration. If you’ve never done this before, you will want to do a bit of studying on how to start out and get accustomed to this because it can be rather intense.  A good way to learn the proper methods when going to a sauna can be found in this simple manual, “Sauna Detoxification Therapy: A Guide for the Chemically Sensitive” by “ Marilyn G. McVicker.”
  2. Taking a high grade, high quality Vitamin C supplement will assist the body in producing a compound in your liver called “glutathione” which facilitates the driving away / elimination of toxins from the body.
  3. Take time to Relax and while relaxing, focus on breathing deeply in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth. This practice will allow the circulation of oxygen to be more complete and effective throughout your entire body.
  • While you are relaxing and/or meditating, reflect on positive emotions which will assist you in transforming your stress into a relaxed state.
  • Another relaxing and cleansing method that can be very enjoyable at the same time is by practicing Hydrotherapy by taking a very hot Epsom Salt Soaking in Epsom salts not only relaxes your muscles, but helps the body release toxins as well.
  • And if you enjoy a good foot-soak, try a “Rocky Mountain Tea Tree Oil Foot Soak.
  1. If you’re not the type of person who cares to soak in a bath tub, then you can also practice Hydrotherapy by showering in this manner:
    • Take a very hot shower for five minutes and be sure to spend the majority of that five minutes with the hot water running over your back.
    • Then turn the faucet to “cold” allowing cold water to run over your back for at least 30 seconds.
    • Next, do the same Hot-then-Cold method at least two more times (a minimum of three times in a row).
    • Lastly, take a 30 minute power nap (or do this shower method right before bed time). Just be sure to get some sleep directly after your shower which allows the body some time to heal and re-energize.
  2. Here’s another method that can be very relaxing and enjoyable as well…Give yourself (or go to a nice spa …check out this awesome personal spa for your home:  “Drop-in Heated Bubble-Massage Air Bath” … or massage therapy {or if you’d rather stay at home and get a massage in a chair while watching your favorite movies or TV shows, check out this amazing Full-Body Massage Chair} clinic that offers these services):  a detoxifying foot bath, also known as a foot spa. Foot Spas/Foot Baths help to remove toxins through the pores in your feet.  You can find foot soaking/foot spas/foot baths online or at stores that carry natural cleansing systems.
  3. Here’s one you may never heard of before but can be very effective, and that is “Dry-Brushing your skin.” Special dry-brushes can also be found online or at stores that carry natural cleansing systems and products.
  • Drum Roll Please!!! You’ve made it to Number 10, the last, but definitely not least, and actually the most important method of detoxification…and that is…EXERCISE! (for “do-it-at-home” folks, this home gym and workout station doesn’t involve lifting or installing bulky or heavy weights:  Boflex Home Gym System).
    • Bennet says in his book I mentioned above that “Exercise…Yoga or jump-roping are good. One hour every day.”
    • If you’re into martial arts and/or martial arts based exercise programs, then you may enjoy Qigong which includes specific exercises for a natural cleanse and detox as well as a variety of other health benefiting exercises.

Now as I’ve previously mentions, You should always consult your doctor before using any particular plan, program, diet or exercise system.  Also consult your physician prior to consuming any supplements, herbal supplements and/or any natural remedy solutions.  You must tell your doctor if you have any serious medical conditions as well as any medications you may currently been on or have taken in the past.  Remember that the information I’ve shared with you here today is merely for educational purposes only and is no way intended or to be used as a substitute for medical counseling.

Word of Caution & Consideration:  While implementing any Natural Cleanse and Detox diet, strategy, program and/or exercise, some side effects may occur due to the toxins being released throughout your body’s system. As you are going through your detox, you may feel some mild, flu-like symptoms for a few days as your body discharges the toxins. It is also very important to remember that not everyone is a candidate for fasting or juicing. For instance, people with hypoglycemia would react poorly to a juice or water cleanse. So if you’re fasting and you begin feeling really horrible, lightheaded, sweaty, extreme exhaustion, nauseous, dizzy, faint, etc., you need to eat something right away! Always, ALWAYS be sure to consult a nutritionist and/or your local physician or doctor before embarking any health or diet program.
